SUMMARY:Saturday Morning Flow & Restore
DESCRIPTION:End The Week With a Gentle Flow\nShake off the week with a steady\, gentle flow and melt into restorative postures that invite deep rest using props for support. This Saturday Morning Flow & Restore practice is about balance – both doing and undoing\, effort and softness. Leave feeling both refreshed and restored! \nAll levels welcome! \n\nSaturday Morning Flow & Restore Event Details\nDates: Every Saturday \nTime: 8:30 – 9:45 AM \nCost: $39 \nSpace is limited — register now to reserve your spot! \n____ \nMeet Samantha\nSamantha is a 200-Hour Certified Yoga Instructor and National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) who believes movement should feel like coming home to yourself\, not something you have to earn. \nHer teaching is rooted in trauma-informed care\, with a strong emphasis on nervous system awareness\, autonomy\, and meeting people exactly where they are. She creates spaces where you don’t have to perform\, push\, or keep up\, just listen\, explore\, and reconnect. Whether you’re navigating physical challenges\, stress\, burnout\, or simply looking for a different relationship with your body\, Samantha’s classes are designed to support both physical and emotional well-being. \nShe draws from her background in health coaching to weave in themes of sustainable wellness\, self-trust\, and curiosity over control. You’ll hear invitations to notice rather than fix\, to feel rather than force\, and to honor your body’s cues over external expectations. \n\n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! SUMMARY:Yin & Win: A Saturday Yin Yoga Class
DESCRIPTION:A Saturday Yin Yoga Series\nWelcome to this beginner-friendly Saturday Yin yoga class series hosted by Alessa! This a slow\, calming practice designed to help you unwind and reset. \nThis yin yoga class is a gentle\, floor-based style of yoga where poses are held for longer periods (typically a few minutes at a time) to deeply stretch the connective tissues\, improve flexibility\, and encourage stillness in both body and mind. \nIn this class\, we’ll settle into simple\, supported shapes and focus on relaxed breathing\, allowing gravity and time to do the work rather than effort or intensity. You’ll be invited to go at your own pace\, with options to adjust or come out of poses whenever you need. This is a space to slow down\, release tension\, and cultivate a sense of ease—perfect for easing out of the day and leaving feeling grounded\, open\, and deeply restored. \nAll levels welcome! \n\nMark Your Calendar\nDates: Every Saturday \nTime: 12:00 – 1:30 PM \nCost: $49 per session \n\nMeet Alessa\nAlessa Midtlyng received her RYT 200 hour certification from Pachananda Yoga Teacher Training Program in Cusco\, Peru in 2020\, with a focus on Vinyasa and Restorative. SUMMARY:Yoga for Hypermobility & EDS
DESCRIPTION:Building Stability and Body Awareness\nThis class is designed for people with hypermobile bodies\, including those living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) or hypermobility spectrum disorders. \nWe’ll explore slow\, controlled yoga movements that build joint stability\, strength\, and body awareness. Practices emphasize working within supportive ranges of motion\, improving proprioception\, and developing muscular support around joints. \nClasses are primarily movement-based yoga practice\, with brief guidance to help students understand how to move safely and effectively in hypermobile bodies. \nStudents are welcome to attend the full 6-week series or join individual classes as drop-ins. \nNo prior yoga experience is required. \n\nSeries Focus\nWeek 1: Understanding Hypermobility in Movement\nLearning how to work within supportive ranges of motion. We explore neutral joint alignment\, micro-bends\, and the difference between mobility and stability through slow\, simple yoga poses. \nWeek 2: Proprioception & Body Awareness\nPractices that improve awareness of joint position and movement. We use slow transitions\, small-range movements\, and props such as blocks or the wall to support body awareness. \nWeek 3: Joint Stability & Co-Contraction\nDeveloping muscular support around joints through gentle strengthening and co-contraction. The practice includes low-load strength work and isometric holds that stabilize shoulders and hips. \nWeek 4: Moving with Control\nLearning to move with precision rather than momentum. We explore slow transitions\, coordination patterns\, and controlled flowing movements. \nWeek 5: Nervous System Regulation\nPractices that support recovery and reduce tension in the body. This class includes breathwork\, restorative postures\, and pacing strategies to support nervous system balance. \nWeek 6: Integration & Personal Practice\nBringing the elements together into a sustainable yoga practice. Students learn how to modify yoga safely and apply the tools from the series in everyday movement. \n\nMark Your Calendar\nDates: Saturdays – \n\nApril 11\nApril 25\nMay 9\nMay 23\nJune 6\nJune 20\n\nTime: 6:00 -7:15PM \nCost: $39 per session \nExtras: Chairs and props provided \n\nMeet Zsuzsanna\nI’ve been practicing yoga for over 18 years and teach with a focus on presence and curiosity. My classes support strength\, mobility\, and body awareness\, with space for students to explore what works best for their own bodies. I completed my foundational training with Suniti Dernovsek at the People’s Yoga and continued with Sarahjoy Marsh through a 300-hour advanced training and an 800-hour yoga therapy program that integrates yoga\, neuroscience and psychology. I encourage students to practice in ways that feel sustainable\, accessible and aligned with their own experience. In addition to group classes\, I offer one-on-one yoga therapy and make small-batch chocolate. From a young age\, she felt connected to subtle energies and the\nemotional experiences of others\, a sensitivity that later became the foundation of her work. \nReiki became a transformative part of her life during a period of deep personal healing. Through reconnecting with her intuition and inner truth\, she discovered her calling to support others on their own journeys. Her practice began with self-healing and naturally expanded to loved ones and clients. In each session\, she blends Reiki with sound healing to activate the body’s natural restorative abilities. Clients may experience warmth\, cooling sensations\, emotional release\, deep relaxation\, or clarity. \nHer intention is always to create a grounded\, compassionate space where individuals can release what no longer serves them and reconnect with their authentic selves. Her approach is intuitive\, gentle\, and guided by the belief that healing unfolds uniquely for every person. \n  \n_______ \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot!
