SUMMARY:Movement to Stillness Meditation
DESCRIPTION:This simple four-part movement-to-stillness meditation is scheduled in the early evening to let go of the accumulated stress of the day. We’ll begin with gentle shaking to loosen tension\, shift into free\, joyful movement\, then settle into quiet sitting or lying down to silently witness the body and the self. Everything in the movement to stillness meditation class is invitational with lots of options—seated or standing\, tiny movements or bigger ones\, eyes open or closed. Come as you are and leave more spacious\, grounded\, and clear. \nWho it’s for: Anyone seeking a gentle way to discharge stress\, lift mood\, and settle into deep calm —great for people who carry stress\, have busy minds\, or have trouble dropping straight into seated meditation. \nGoals: Loosen and mobilize stuck energy through shaking and free movement; shift into quiet observation; finish grounded\, relaxed\, and clear. \n_______ \nWhen: Every Tuesday and Thursday \nTime: 4:30 – 5:30 PM \nCost: $29 per session \n_______ \nMeet Briana\nBriana is a transformational life coach\, somatic practitioner\, and trauma-informed breathwork guide. Through an integrative blend of somatic awareness\, movement\, meditation\, and breathwork\, she helps people reconnect with their innate wisdom\, release what no longer serves\, and embody their most authentic selves. Her work bridges insight and embodiment—supporting nervous system empowerment\, emotional healing\, and holistic integration through the body\, breath\, and spirit. \n  \n\n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! My name is Jody\, and I’m originally from San Diego. After spending the last year in Baja California\, Mexico\, I’m excited to be planting roots in Portland. SUMMARY:Breathwork Patterns and Theory
DESCRIPTION:This Breathwork Patterns and Theory class is an educational and experiential breathwork class focused on learning a variety of therapeutic\, active\, and yogic breathing techniques while exploring how different breath patterns influence the nervous system\, emotional states\, energy levels\, and mind-body connection. \nParticipants will explore breathwork through both practice and theory\, learning how specific breathing styles can support grounding\, regulation\, activation\, emotional release\, focus\, relaxation\, embodiment\, and nervous system awareness. This class combines guided experiential practice with accessible education on the science of breath and how breathing patterns can influence stress\, energy\, emotional balance\, mental clarity\, resilience\, and overall wellbeing. \nBreath patterns explored may include therapeutic breath patterns\, active breathwork patterns\, and yogic breathing techniques. Classes are designed to help participants develop practical tools they can integrate into daily life for stress management\, emotional regulation\, grounding\, self-awareness\, burnout\, anxiety\, and overall wellbeing. \nClasses are trauma-informed\, beginner friendly\, and may include guided breathwork\, nervous system education\, meditation\, somatic exercises\, music\, discussion\, and integration practices depending on the focus of the session. \n_______ \nThe Five States of Awareness Class Details\nWhen: Every Thursday \nTime: 7:15 – 8:30 PM \nCost: $39 per session \n_______ \nMeet Rachel\nI believe the breath is connected to everything. Our muscles are connected to fascia\, fascia is connected to the nervous system\, the nervous system is shaped by the heart\, and the heart is sustained by the lungs. Breath is one of the most basic signs of life\, but it is also one of the most powerful tools we have for reconnecting with the body. \nThe mind\, body\, and spirit are not separate parts of us; they are always communicating. Our thoughts\, emotions\, relationships\, stress\, and lived experiences shape the way our bodies function\, affecting sleep\, energy\, mood\, digestion\, tension\, pain\, and our ability to feel safe within ourselves. Likewise\, what is held in the body can show up as anxiety\, emotional overwhelm\, fatigue\, disconnection\, or a sense of being stuck. \nThrough my approach\, I bring a trauma-informed lens to breathwork that honors the relationship between the body\, the nervous system\, and lived experience. Breathwork supports the whole system because breath touches the whole system. Intentional breathing practices may support stress reduction\, emotional regulation\, anxiety relief\, increased body awareness\, nervous system resilience\, and a greater sense of calm\, presence\, and inner steadiness. Through breathwork\, we can begin to support the body from the inside out\, creating more space\, awareness\, regulation\, and connection throughout the whole self. \n  \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! These practices became essential tools for centering myself\, finding balance\, and deepening my connection to my inner world. Along the way\, I discovered the profound impact of sound baths and began participating in them regularly. Their ability to calm the nervous system\, release emotional blockages\, and create space for healing inspired me deeply. \n \nA few years ago\, I started collecting sound bowls and other instruments\, incorporating them into my own daily self-care and spiritual practice. What began as a personal exploration gradually evolved into something I felt called to share. I recently began offering sound bath sessions to others\, creating nurturing\, immersive experiences that support relaxation\, presence\, and inner harmony. \nI feel a deep sense of joy and alignment when guiding sound baths and am honored to offer this healing modality to others. It’s a practice that continues to nourish me as I hold space for others on their own healing paths.

Through reconnecting with her intuition and inner truth\, she discovered her calling to support others on their own journeys. Clients may experience warmth\, cooling sensations\, emotional release\, deep relaxation\, or clarity. \nHer intention is always to create a grounded\, compassionate space where individuals can release what no longer serves them and reconnect with their authentic selves.
\n  \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! SUMMARY:The Five States of Awareness Breathwork
DESCRIPTION:The Five States of Awareness series is a breathwork-based somatic exploration series focused on the five states of awareness: \n\nPhysical State\nEmotional State\nEnergetic State\nSpacious State\nOpen State\n\nThis series invites participants to explore how different states of awareness shape the way we experience the body\, breath\, emotions\, thoughts\, energy\, relationships\, and nervous system. Through guided breathwork\, nervous system education\, embodiment practices\, meditation\, music\, self-inquiry\, and integration\, participants are supported in building a deeper relationship with themselves and their internal world. \nRather than trying to “fix” emotions or force a specific outcome\, this series focuses on noticing what is already present. Participants will learn how stress\, trauma\, anxiety\, grief\, burnout\, overthinking\, emotional suppression\, and disconnection can show up in the body and breath\, while exploring practices that support grounding\, regulation\, emotional expression\, presence\, and reconnection. \nClasses are experiential\, trauma-informed\, beginner friendly\, and rooted in choice\, consent\, and nervous system safety. Each class may include active breathwork\, restorative grounding practices\, guided meditation\, journaling prompts\, somatic exercises\, music\, and group discussion depending on the focus of the session. \n_______ \nThe Five States of Awareness Class Details\nWhen: Every Tuesday \nTime: 7:15 – 8:30 PM \nCost: $39 per session \n_______ \nMeet Rachel\nI believe the breath is connected to everything. SUMMARY:Crystal Chakra Healing with Sound Activation
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy relaxing crystal chakra healing with James Hadde\, a certified crystal healer\, reiki practitioner\, and cranial sacral therapist. \nHow Crystals Work \nCrystals channel energy and they can focus\, store\, transmit\, and transmute this energy and it can be used for beneficial healing and energizing effects. \nBenefits of Crystal Healing \nCrystals channel\, focus\, store\, transmit\, and transmute energy along natural energy meridians within the body which can be used for beneficial healing and energizing effects. \nCrystal healing is about change; it involves working with crystals to improve your physical and mental health\, emotional wellbeing\, and spiritual advancement. Crystals improve your general state of wellbeing and reduce or even remove the symptoms of disease. They also speed up changes in your life and facilitate lifestyle choices that promote health and recovery. \n______ \nCrystal Chakra Healing Class Info\nWhen: Every Wednesday \nTime: 7:45 – 9:00pm \nCost: $39 \nWhat to Expect: This session focuses on the placement of crystals along the main chakra meridian of the body where their piezoelectric effects are activated and enhanced via sound\, reiki\, and cranial sacral therapy. Please bring your own pillow and blanket for deeper relaxation. \n_______ \nMeet James\nJames Hadde has spent most of his life in Japan and Hawai’i working as an art teacher\, scuba diving instructor\, and vibrational healer. This geographic isolation nourished a window to view the human body as an island that floats in a sea of modern experience which contributes to and enhances anxiety\, stress\, depression\, and an unbalanced nervous system. \nRapid injury rehabilitation and a shift toward improved mental health introduced him to yoga and vibrational healing where over the last decade he has sought training to assist himself and share this philosophy with others. He is RYT 200-hour yoga certified in Tatravana Yoga\, a certified crystal healer\, gong master and sound practitioner\, trained in reiki through the Hawaii lineage\, and has studied cranial sacral therapy here in Portland at Moving Mountain Institute.
\n  \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot!

It is his pleasure to hold space for healing and exploration beyond allopathic medicine and to encourage an open heart and mind regarding the various complementary and holistic vibrational modalities which can tonify and relax body\, mind\, and soul. \n  \n_______ \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot!
\n  \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! My name is Jody\, and I’m originally from San Diego. After spending the last year in Baja California\, Mexico\, I’m excited to be planting roots in Portland. I’m an RYT 500-hour yoga teacher and NB-HWC Health and Wellness Coach with a deep passion for integrative\, trauma-informed movement and healing. \nMy teaching weaves together gentle asana\, breathwork\, mindfulness\, and somatic awareness to help students ground into their bodies\, regulate their nervous systems\, and cultivate lasting well-being.
Rooted in a philosophy of radical inclusivity and personal choice\, I believe everybody deserves access to practices that meet them exactly where they are. I hold additional certifications in Yoga of Recovery\, Meditation and Mindfulness Instruction\, Yoga and Ayurveda Foundations\, and Self Myofascial Release\, and bring a rich\, multidisciplinary perspective to every class I teach. \nI’m a dog-obsessed\, long-distance runner\, and my goal is to run my first full marathon to celebrate my 50th birthday. I’ve survived cancer\, and I’ve also been living with a kidney/pancreas transplant since 2009. I understand the challenge of striving for a vibrant\, healthy life while balancing challenging health issues. It’s why I began teaching Yoga. Helping others on their wellness journey is also how I help myself.
