SUMMARY:The Grief Womb - A Seasonal Ritual for Women
DESCRIPTION:A Seasonal Ritual for Women\nWithin our wombs lies more than the imprint of our personal grief. They hold the body’s intelligence and our healthy response to love\, rupture\, history and the currents of the collective journey. \nIn these times – globally\, politically\, ancestrally\, personally – grief moves through the nervous system of our wombs whether we consciously tend it or not. When left unattended\, it creates stagnation in our organs… hardening our life energy through exhaustion\, numbness\, reactivity and isolation. \nThe Grief Womb is a 2-hour ceremonial circle for women\, devoted to softening what’s been held within us for too long. Together\, we create a regulated and devotional space for our sorrow to move\, guided by the wisdom of the womb. \nIn this sacredly tended\, communal space\, we’re invited to stay open. To ‘keep our gaze on the bandaged place\,’ as we sit together and listen… allowing what’s here to deeply breathe. Through guided meditation\, presence\, inner wisdom and a water ritual of honor and release\, our grief is given space to whisper\, sing and flow. \nThis is the steady work of the feminine. Work that restores our hearts and reclaims the medicine women’s bodies are carrying for these times. \nEvent Details\nDate: Saturday\, May 30th \nTime: 7:00 – 9:00PM \nCost: $50 \nSpace is limited — register now to reserve your spot! \nWhat to Bring\n\nan item for the communal altar\na natural element for the communal water bowl\njournal + pen\n\n____ \nMeet Your Instructor\n \nSharon Ann Rose is a mother\, author\, ceremonialist\, and Midwife for Midlife™ with over 25 years guiding women through sacred thresholds. Her own complex menopause journey revealed the transformative intelligence of this passage\, reshaping her understanding of midlife as an initiation often misunderstood by modern medicine and culture. \nShe has contributed to multiple written works on women’s experiences and feminine knowledge\, participated for decades in international women’s movements\, led retreats globally\, and offers 1:1 mentorship and group processes that weave ritual\, somatic practice and womb-centered alchemy. \nSharon is the author of Faces of the Mother: A Feminine Path to Embodiment through Ancient Wisdom\, Archetypes\, and Soul Fertility\, creator of Majestic: A Midlife Initiation\, and founder of The Wombing Sanctuary. She guides women to stabilize their nervous systems\, attune to the rhythms of the earth and their bodies\, and reclaim their inner power and knowing – for themselves and for the world. SUMMARY:Yin & Win: A Saturday Yin Yoga Class
DESCRIPTION:A Saturday Yin Yoga Series\nWelcome to this beginner-friendly Saturday Yin yoga class series hosted by Alessa! This a slow\, calming practice designed to help you unwind and reset. \nThis yin yoga class is a gentle\, floor-based style of yoga where poses are held for longer periods (typically a few minutes at a time) to deeply stretch the connective tissues\, improve flexibility\, and encourage stillness in both body and mind. \nIn this class\, we’ll settle into simple\, supported shapes and focus on relaxed breathing\, allowing gravity and time to do the work rather than effort or intensity. You’ll be invited to go at your own pace\, with options to adjust or come out of poses whenever you need. This is a space to slow down\, release tension\, and cultivate a sense of ease—perfect for easing out of the day and leaving feeling grounded\, open\, and deeply restored. \nAll levels welcome! \n\nMark Your Calendar\nDates: Every Saturday \nTime: 12:00 – 1:30 PM \nCost: $49 per session \n\nMeet Alessa\nAlessa Midtlyng received her RYT 200 hour certification from Pachananda Yoga Teacher Training Program in Cusco\, Peru in 2020\, with a focus on Vinyasa and Restorative. DESCRIPTION:End The Week With a Gentle Flow\nShake off the week with a steady\, gentle flow and melt into restorative postures that invite deep rest using props for support. This Saturday Morning Flow & Restore practice is about balance – both doing and undoing\, effort and softness. She creates spaces where you don’t have to perform\, push\, or keep up\, just listen\, explore\, and reconnect. Whether you’re navigating physical challenges\, stress\, burnout\, or simply looking for a different relationship with your body\, Samantha’s classes are designed to support both physical and emotional well-being. \nShe draws from her background in health coaching to weave in themes of sustainable wellness\, self-trust\, and curiosity over control. You’ll hear invitations to notice rather than fix\, to feel rather than force\, and to honor your body’s cues over external expectations. \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! These practices became essential tools for centering myself\, finding balance\, and deepening my connection to my inner world. Along the way\, I discovered the profound impact of sound baths and began participating in them regularly. Their ability to calm the nervous system\, release emotional blockages\, and create space for healing inspired me deeply. \n \nA few years ago\, I started collecting sound bowls and other instruments\, incorporating them into my own daily self-care and spiritual practice. What began as a personal exploration gradually evolved into something I felt called to share. I recently began offering sound bath sessions to others\, creating nurturing\, immersive experiences that support relaxation\, presence\, and inner harmony. \nI feel a deep sense of joy and alignment when guiding sound baths and am honored to offer this healing modality to others. It’s a practice that continues to nourish me as I hold space for others on their own healing paths.

I also incorporate functional training into both one-on-one sessions and group classes\, helping clients develop stability\, mobility\, and balance—essential skills for everyday life. My goal is for every workout plan to reflect real-world movement patterns\, so clients feel strong\, confident\, and supported in their day-to-day lives. \n_______ \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! SUMMARY:Movement to Stillness Meditation
DESCRIPTION:This simple four-part movement-to-stillness meditation is scheduled in the early evening to let go of the accumulated stress of the day. We’ll begin with gentle shaking to loosen tension\, shift into free\, joyful movement\, then settle into quiet sitting or lying down to silently witness the body and the self. Everything in the movement to stillness meditation class is invitational with lots of options—seated or standing\, tiny movements or bigger ones\, eyes open or closed. Come as you are and leave more spacious\, grounded\, and clear. \nWho it’s for: Anyone seeking a gentle way to discharge stress\, lift mood\, and settle into deep calm —great for people who carry stress\, have busy minds\, or have trouble dropping straight into seated meditation. \nGoals: Loosen and mobilize stuck energy through shaking and free movement; shift into quiet observation; finish grounded\, relaxed\, and clear. \n_______ \nWhen: Every Tuesday and Thursday \nTime: 4:30 – 5:30 PM \nCost: $29 per session \n_______ \nMeet Briana\nBriana is a transformational life coach\, somatic practitioner\, and trauma-informed breathwork guide. Through an integrative blend of somatic awareness\, movement\, meditation\, and breathwork\, she helps people reconnect with their innate wisdom\, release what no longer serves\, and embody their most authentic selves. Her work bridges insight and embodiment—supporting nervous system empowerment\, emotional healing\, and holistic integration through the body\, breath\, and spirit. \n  \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! She is proud to note that she has since made a full recovery– with the support of her yoga practice! Corrie also lives with ADHD. As a result\, Corrie is a staunch advocate for trauma-informed yoga practices that are accessible to a variety of learning styles. Yoga is for every body– regardless of age\, gender\, and seen/unseen disabilities. \nCorrie received her yoga teacher certification in early 2025\, and has been teaching since throughout the Portland metro area and the Columbia River Gorge. She is currently working towards her 500-hour advanced teaching certification. She is certified to teach a variety of yoga practice styles including: hatha\, hatha and foam rolling\, vinyasa\, yin yoga\, and kids yoga. \nCorrie is also known as “Rio’s mom.” If a black dog looks like she really wants you to pet her while checking in for your class\, that is likely Rio. In Corrie’s spare time\, she loves to spend time outdoors with Rio\, play guitar\, and she is currently training for her second marathon. \nIf you’d like to learn more about Corrie’s yoga teaching philosophy\, additional community events\, workshops\, or retreats that Corrie leads throughout the year\, please visit her website at www.brown-eyedyogi.com or find her on Instagram at browneyedyogi006. \n_______ \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! SUMMARY:Wednesday Yin Yoga Series
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday Yin Yoga Series\nDiscover your midweek sanctuary with Alessa’s Wednesday Yin Yoga Series! This is a nurturing\, unhurried practice crafted for all bodies and all experience levels. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner\, Wednesday afternoons just became your favorite part of the week. \nYin yoga works beneath the surface. Unlike more active styles\, this grounded\, floor-based practice focuses on passive\, long-held postures that access the deeper connective tissues of the body – think fascia\, joints\, and ligaments. The result? Increased flexibility\, reduced tension\, and a nervous system that finally gets to exhale. \nAlessa’s Wednesday Yin Yoga Series is thoughtfully sequenced to guide you from the noise of the day into a place of genuine quiet. Each posture is an invitation to breathe more fully\, to release what you’ve been holding\, and to simply be present. Props\, modifications\, and options are woven throughout every class\, so you’re always empowered to make the practice your own. \nNo yoga background required. Show up as you are. \n\nMark Your Calendar\nDates: Every Wednesday \nTime: 2:15 – 3:15 PM \nCost: $29 per session \n\nMeet Alessa\nAlessa Midtlyng received her RYT 200 hour certification from Pachananda Yoga Teacher Training Program in Cusco\, Peru in 2020\, with a focus on Vinyasa and Restorative. I completed my foundational training with Suniti Dernovsek at the People’s Yoga and continued with Sarahjoy Marsh through a 300-hour advanced training and an 800-hour yoga therapy program that integrates yoga\, neuroscience and psychology. I encourage students to practice in ways that feel sustainable\, accessible and aligned with their own experience.
SUMMARY:Tuesday Hatha Rollin' Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday Hatha Rollin’ Yoga is a breath-led yoga practice combining foam rolling with foundational yoga poses to support fascial health\, nervous system regulation\, and sustainable movement needed for everyday life. The foam roller is used as both a release tool and a supportive prop – blending gentle rolling\, mindful movement\, and breath awareness into a hatha yoga practice. This class aims to improve mobility\, build strength\, and enhance coordination between essential body movements for everyday life tasks. This class is a great option for all levels of yogis\, and especially for those looking to progressively increase range of motion and move with greater clarity and resilience. \nWhile there are some foam rollers available for use\, it is encouraged for students to bring their own. \n______ \nEvent Details\nWhen: Every Tuesday \nTime: 12:45 – 1:45 PM \nCost: $29 \nWhat To Bring: \n\nComfortable clothes to move in\nA water bottle\nA foam roller\n\n_______ \nMeet Corrie\nCorrie has been a yoga student for over 20 years. Her sister introduced her to yoga while Corrie was recovering from a severe illness as a teenager that limited her ability to exercise.
