SUMMARY:Shavasana Sound Therapy for Fascial Rejuvenation
DESCRIPTION:Join Gong Master and Yoga Instructor\, James Hadde as he guides the group through sixty minutes of yoga nidra (yogic sleep) and restorative yoga utilizing vibrational healing techniques with gong\, crystal bowls\, and guided meditation. The underlying themes of our shavasana are focused on rejuvenating facia\, balancing mind\, body\, and spirit\, and intuitively reducing stress and tension. Please bring your own pillow or blanket for deeper relaxation. \nHow It Works\nCollagen is a piezoelectric material\, meaning it generates an electrical charge in response to vibration. Sound frequencies create resonate\, healing vibration through fascial tissue. This activates the charge and supports cellular communication\, fluid exchange\, and the reorganization of collagen fibers along more functional lines. Also\, deep meditative states shift your autonomic nervous system into parasympathetic dominance. This directly reduces the sympathetic armoring that keeps fascia in chronic contraction and stress. Fascia that receives consistent vibrational input moves and recovers differently. Your nervous system learns to treat your body as safe rather than threatened\, and these tissues softens\, rehydrates\, and reorganizes accordingly. \n______ \nShavasana Sound Therapy Class Info\nWhen: Every Wednesday \nTime: 9:15 – 10:15pm \nCost: $29 \nWhat to Bring:Please bring your own pillow or blanket for deeper relaxation. \n_______ \nMeet James\nJames Hadde has spent most of his life in Japan and Hawai’i working as an art teacher\, scuba diving instructor\, and vibrational healer. This geographic isolation nourished a window to view the human body as an island that floats in a sea of modern experience which contributes to and enhances anxiety\, stress\, depression\, and an unbalanced nervous system. \nRapid injury rehabilitation and a shift toward improved mental health introduced him to yoga and vibrational healing where over the last decade he has sought training to assist himself and share this philosophy with others. He is RYT 200-hour yoga certified in Tatravana Yoga\, a certified crystal healer\, gong master and sound practitioner\, trained in reiki through the Hawaii lineage\, and has studied cranial sacral therapy here in Portland at Moving Mountain Institute. It is his pleasure to hold space for healing and exploration beyond allopathic medicine and to encourage an open heart and mind regarding the various complementary and holistic vibrational modalities which can tonify and relax body\, mind\, and soul. \n  \n_______ \n\n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! These practices became essential tools for centering myself\, finding balance\, and deepening my connection to my inner world. Along the way\, I discovered the profound impact of sound baths and began participating in them regularly. Their ability to calm the nervous system\, release emotional blockages\, and create space for healing inspired me deeply. \n \nA few years ago\, I started collecting sound bowls and other instruments\, incorporating them into my own daily self-care and spiritual practice. What began as a personal exploration gradually evolved into something I felt called to share. I recently began offering sound bath sessions to others\, creating nurturing\, immersive experiences that support relaxation\, presence\, and inner harmony. \nI feel a deep sense of joy and alignment when guiding sound baths and am honored to offer this healing modality to others. It’s a practice that continues to nourish me as I hold space for others on their own healing paths.

Through reconnecting with her intuition and inner truth\, she discovered her calling to support others on their own journeys. Clients may experience warmth\, cooling sensations\, emotional release\, deep relaxation\, or clarity. \nHer intention is always to create a grounded\, compassionate space where individuals can release what no longer serves them and reconnect with their authentic selves. SUMMARY:Monday Yin Yoga Series
DESCRIPTION:Monday Yin Yoga Series\nJoin Alessa on for a deeply restorative Monday Yin yoga series\, open to participants of every background and skill level. If you’re looking for a midweek pause to reconnect with yourself\, this is your space. \nYin yoga is a floor-based\, meditative style of practice that invites you to sink into long-held\, passive shapes. This practice will gently target the deeper layers of the body\, including fascia\, ligaments\, and joints. Over time\, this approach supports greater mobility\, improved circulation\, and a quieter\, more settled mind. \nEach session with Alessa guides you through a thoughtful sequence of supported postures\, where the focus is on softening rather than striving. SUMMARY:Embodied Yoga: A Yoga Therapy-Informed Practice
DESCRIPTION:Discover Embodied Yoga\nThis is an accessible yoga class informed by the principles of yoga therapy\, offering a whole-person approach that supports the physical\, mental\, emotional\, and inner dimensions of experience. Each  session may include gentle to moderate movement\, mindful strength-building\, breathwork (pranayama)\, mindfulness and somatic practices\, and grounding techniques to support nervous system regulation and embodied awareness. \nClasses are responsive to who arrives. Some days may feel like a slow\, mindful flow; other days may offer more therapeutic pacing\, chair-based options\, or space for inquiry and integration. Depending on the group and intention\, we may also explore sound\, simple chant\, or mantra as supportive tools for presence and regulation. Practices are often informed by seasonal rhythms and Ayurvedic principles. \nFor those curious about yoga therapy\, this class offers a gentle entry point — a shared container to slow down\, tune in\, and explore with curiosity and intention. SUMMARY:Tuesday Hatha Rollin' Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday Hatha Rollin’ Yoga is a breath-led yoga practice combining foam rolling with foundational yoga poses to support fascial health\, nervous system regulation\, and sustainable movement needed for everyday life. The foam roller is used as both a release tool and a supportive prop – blending gentle rolling\, mindful movement\, and breath awareness into a hatha yoga practice. This class aims to improve mobility\, build strength\, and enhance coordination between essential body movements for everyday life tasks. This class is a great option for all levels of yogis\, and especially for those looking to progressively increase range of motion and move with greater clarity and resilience. \nWhile there are some foam rollers available for use\, it is encouraged for students to bring their own. \n______ \nEvent Details\nWhen: Every Tuesday \nTime: 12:45 – 1:45 PM \nCost: $29 \nWhat To Bring: \n\nComfortable clothes to move in\nA water bottle\nA foam roller\n\n_______ \nMeet Corrie\nCorrie has been a yoga student for over 20 years. Her sister introduced her to yoga while Corrie was recovering from a severe illness as a teenager that limited her ability to exercise. She is proud to note that she has since made a full recovery– with the support of her yoga practice! Corrie also lives with ADHD. As a result\, Corrie is a staunch advocate for trauma-informed yoga practices that are accessible to a variety of learning styles. Yoga is for every body– regardless of age\, gender\, and seen/unseen disabilities. \nCorrie received her yoga teacher certification in early 2025\, and has been teaching since throughout the Portland metro area and the Columbia River Gorge. She is currently working towards her 500-hour advanced teaching certification. She is certified to teach a variety of yoga practice styles including: hatha\, hatha and foam rolling\, vinyasa\, yin yoga\, and kids yoga. \nCorrie is also known as “Rio’s mom.” If a black dog looks like she really wants you to pet her while checking in for your class\, that is likely Rio. In Corrie’s spare time\, she loves to spend time outdoors with Rio\, play guitar\, and she is currently training for her second marathon. \nIf you’d like to learn more about Corrie’s yoga teaching philosophy\, additional community events\, workshops\, or retreats that Corrie leads throughout the year\, please visit her website at www.brown-eyedyogi.com or find her on Instagram at browneyedyogi006. \n_______ \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! I completed my foundational training with Suniti Dernovsek at the People’s Yoga and continued with Sarahjoy Marsh through a 300-hour advanced training and an 800-hour yoga therapy program that integrates yoga\, neuroscience and psychology. I encourage students to practice in ways that feel sustainable\, accessible and aligned with their own experience. SUMMARY:Wednesday Yin Yoga Series
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday Yin Yoga Series\nDiscover your midweek sanctuary with Alessa’s Wednesday Yin Yoga Series! This is a nurturing\, unhurried practice crafted for all bodies and all experience levels. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner\, Wednesday afternoons just became your favorite part of the week. \nYin yoga works beneath the surface. Unlike more active styles\, this grounded\, floor-based practice focuses on passive\, long-held postures that access the deeper connective tissues of the body – think fascia\, joints\, and ligaments. The result? Increased flexibility\, reduced tension\, and a nervous system that finally gets to exhale. \nAlessa’s Wednesday Yin Yoga Series is thoughtfully sequenced to guide you from the noise of the day into a place of genuine quiet. Each posture is an invitation to breathe more fully\, to release what you’ve been holding\, and to simply be present. Props\, modifications\, and options are woven throughout every class\, so you’re always empowered to make the practice your own. \nNo yoga background required. Show up as you are. \n\nMark Your Calendar\nDates: Every Wednesday \nTime: 2:15 – 3:15 PM \nCost: $29 per session \n\nMeet Alessa\nAlessa Midtlyng received her RYT 200 hour certification from Pachananda Yoga Teacher Training Program in Cusco\, Peru in 2020\, with a focus on Vinyasa and Restorative. She first sought out yoga in 2016 when she began to venture onto the healing path and she then quickly found that yoga was the gateway to mental health and physical wellbeing. Over the years\, her personal practice and teaching have expanded  to include a deep love for practicing and sharing yin\, where she witnessed transformative results in the realm of integration\, sleep\, nervous system regulation\, and self awareness. She is passionate about holding space for students to slow down and reconnect to their bodies. \nSpace is limited — register now to reserve your spot! \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! SUMMARY:Wednesday Hatha Rollin' Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday Hatha Rollin’ Yoga is a breath-led yoga practice combining foam rolling with foundational yoga poses to support fascial health\, nervous system regulation\, and sustainable movement needed for everyday life. \n______ \nEvent Details\nWhen: Every Wednesday \nTime: 3:30 – 4:30 PM \nCost: $29 \nWhat To Bring: \n\nComfortable clothes to move in\nA water bottle\nA foam roller\n\n_______ \nMeet Corrie\nCorrie has been a yoga student for over 20 years. SUMMARY:Crystal Chakra Healing with Sound Activation
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy relaxing crystal chakra healing with James Hadde\, a certified crystal healer\, reiki practitioner\, and cranial sacral therapist. \nHow Crystals Work \nCrystals channel energy and they can focus\, store\, transmit\, and transmute this energy and it can be used for beneficial healing and energizing effects. \nBenefits of Crystal Healing \nCrystals channel\, focus\, store\, transmit\, and transmute energy along natural energy meridians within the body which can be used for beneficial healing and energizing effects. \nCrystal healing is about change; it involves working with crystals to improve your physical and mental health\, emotional wellbeing\, and spiritual advancement. Crystals improve your general state of wellbeing and reduce or even remove the symptoms of disease. They also speed up changes in your life and facilitate lifestyle choices that promote health and recovery. \n______ \nCrystal Chakra Healing Class Info\nWhen: Every Wednesday \nTime: 7:45 – 9:00pm \nCost: $39 \nWhat to Expect: This session focuses on the placement of crystals along the main chakra meridian of the body where their piezoelectric effects are activated and enhanced via sound\, reiki\, and cranial sacral therapy. Please bring your own pillow and blanket for deeper relaxation.
\n  \n_______ \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! Led by Dr. Ava Gettinger\, ND\, each session offers space for personal growth and communal healing. \nRooted in family systems theory and ancestral trauma work\, Systemic Constellation offers a unique lens for exploring the forces that shape our lives—often without our awareness. Whether you bring a personal challenge or come to witness\, each group session offers healing insight and the possibility of deep transformation. \nThis event is ideal for those seeking clarity\, healing\, or emotional release in a supportive community setting. My perspective on the healing journey is that it provides one of the greatest opportunities to get to know ourselves and align with our purpose. When you make the effort to know yourself well\, you can more easily adapt to the world around you and become less burdened by its numerous challenges. \nBecoming conscious in this way allows you to recognize what habits & environments are serving you and those that are not. In turn\, this supports your vitality on an emotional\, spiritual and physical level\, leading to an ability to integrate parts of yourself that were once challenging to face. \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot!
While this is a group yoga class\, it reflects the broader scope of yoga therapy by weaving movement\, breath\, philosophy\, and self-inquiry into an adaptable\, co-created practice that may be soft or strong\, quiet or dynamic\, depending on who arrives and what is needed. \nWant to know more about yoga therapy? Read about it here! \nMark Your Calendar\nDates: Every Tuesday \nTime: 10:00 – 11:15AM \nCost: $39 per session \nExtras: Mats and props provided — feel free to bring your own for comfort \nNote: This class is capped at 4 people per session\, so don’t wait to sign up! \n\nMeet Maya\nMaya Lake-Freeman is a Certified Yoga Therapist and experienced yoga teacher specializing in trauma-informed yoga therapy and accessible\, mindful movement practices. My classes support strength\, mobility\, and body awareness\, with space for students to explore what works best for their own bodies. In addition to group classes\, I offer one-on-one yoga therapy and make small-batch chocolate.
In addition to group classes\, I offer one-on-one yoga therapy and make small-batch chocolate. SUMMARY:Family Constellation Group
DESCRIPTION:Reveal the Hidden Patterns That Shape Your Life\nJoin us for an ongoing group experience in Systemic Constellation\, a profound therapeutic method that helps uncover the unseen dynamics influencing your relationships\, health\, purpose\, and more. Learn more about Family Constellations Therapy here. \n\nDates: 1st & 3rd Mondays – Ongoing \nTime: 6:00–7:30 PM \nCost: $50 per session \nSpace is limited — reserve your spot today! \n\nHosted By Ava Gettinger\, ND\nHealth is more than just disease. It is vitality\, resiliency\, and capacity.
Her work blends the ancient wisdom of yoga with modern neuroscience\, Ayurveda\, and complementary healing modalities to help clients find strength\, balance\, and stillness. \nSpace is limited — register now to reserve your spot! \n\n \n \n Class Registration\n Sign up below to reserve your spot! My classes support strength\, mobility\, and body awareness\, with space for students to explore what works best for their own bodies. In addition to group classes\, I offer one-on-one yoga therapy and make small-batch chocolate.
In addition to group classes\, I offer one-on-one yoga therapy and make small-batch chocolate.
