Treating pain the all-natural way
Whether experiencing acute or chronic pain, I utilize acupuncture as a holistic and natural way to relieve discomfort in your body and to speed up your healing process. Adding bodywork treatments such as cupping, gua sha, or tuina is a great addition to acupuncture to give your body the extra boost it needs to eliminate pain and restore comfort. Through a combination of both modalities I am able to correct balances in your nervous system that are leading to pain and inflammation. Although I have experience treating a myriad of conditions, I specialize in pain management, stress, anxiety, insomnia, and digestive disorders.
Eliminating stress one needle at a time
With so much mental strain and pressure in your daily life, using acupuncture for stress and anxiety relief is the foundation for emotional well-being and physical health. My goal with every treatment is to provide you a relaxed and restful experience that will bring your body back into balance and have you leaving with an improved sense of calm and peace of mind.
A tailored healing experience for you
I create a safe and compassionate space for healing with every patient encounter. From living and working in many different environments, I have experience with people of all backgrounds and am grateful for the opportunity to meet each individual where they are on their own personal health journey. By addressing all aspects of physical, mental, and emotional health, I work to create an individualized treatment plan to help patients feel better for the long term so they can live their best lives.
Education and Background
I am a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner in the state of Oregon and am certified with the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Recently relocated from Austin, TX, I received my Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine and am currently pursuing my doctorate degree from Pacific College of Health & Science.
I was first introduced to acupuncture through a close high school friend who ultimately became my first acupuncturist and mentor. Through receiving regular treatments from her I was able to firsthand experience the life changing benefits this medicine can provide. Although my friend may no longer be with us, she left a large imprint on the course of my life and I plan to carry on her legacy through the patients I treat and the lives I can affect through the power of acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
