Discover your midweek sanctuary with Alessa’s Wednesday Yin Yoga Series! This is a nurturing, unhurried practice crafted for all bodies and all experience levels. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, Wednesday afternoons just became your favorite part of the week.

Yin yoga works beneath the surface. Unlike more active styles, this grounded, floor-based practice focuses on passive, long-held postures that access the deeper connective tissues of the body – think fascia, joints, and ligaments. The result? Increased flexibility, reduced tension, and a nervous system that finally gets to exhale.

Alessa’s Wednesday Yin Yoga Series is thoughtfully sequenced to guide you from the noise of the day into a place of genuine quiet. Each posture is an invitation to breathe more fully, to release what you’ve been holding, and to simply be present. Props, modifications, and options are woven throughout every class, so you’re always empowered to make the practice your own.

Meet Alessa

Alessa MidtlyingAlessa Midtlyng received her RYT 200 hour certification from Pachananda Yoga Teacher Training Program in Cusco, Peru in 2020, with a focus on Vinyasa and Restorative. She first sought out yoga in 2016 when she began to venture onto the healing path and she then quickly found that yoga was the gateway to mental health and physical wellbeing. Over the years, her personal practice and teaching have expanded  to include a deep love for practicing and sharing yin, where she witnessed transformative results in the realm of integration, sleep, nervous system regulation, and self awareness. She is passionate about holding space for students to slow down and reconnect to their bodies.
