Frequently Asked Questions
What are Heart Spring Health memberships?
The Heart Spring Health Membership is a voluntary wellness membership that provides access to non-covered, self-pay wellness services, classes, and discounts that are not billed to insurance or Medicare.
This membership is not health insurance and does not replace insurance or Medicare.
Who are Heart Spring Health memberships good for?
Heart Spring Health’s memberships are ideal for patients who want:
- Ongoing wellness support
- Preventative and educational services
- Fitness, stress reduction, and lifestyle care
- Predictable monthly wellness costs
Do I need insurance to join?
No. You may join whether or not you have insurance.
If you do have insurance or Medicare, covered medical services must still be billed to your insurance or Medicare according to law and payer contracts.
Does a membership replace my insurance or Medicare?
No. This membership:
- Does not replace insurance or Medicare
- Does not waive deductibles, copays, or coinsurance
- Does not include covered medical services
What services ARE included in my membership?
Included benefits are non-covered wellness services only, such as:
- Group wellness and movement classes
- Wellness or relaxation-based massage
- Member-only gym access
- Educational meal plans
- Discounts on select self-pay wellness services and supplements
All included services are educational, preventative, or wellness-based, not medical treatment.
What services are NOT included in my membership?
Not included in the membership:
- Medical visits or evaluations
- Services that are medically necessary
- Services covered by insurance or Medicare
- Services that require diagnosis, treatment, or disease management
These services must be billed separately to insurance, Medicare, or paid at self-pay rates.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds to pay for the membership?
Generally, no.
Membership fees are typically not eligible expenses under HSA or FSA rules.
Some individual self-pay services may be eligible for HSA or FSA reimbursement if allowed by your specific plan, but eligibility is determined by the IRS and your plan administrator—not the clinic.
Patients are responsible for confirming eligibility with their HSA or FSA administrator before using those funds.
What if I have Medicare?
If you are a Medicare beneficiary:
- Medicare-covered services must be billed to Medicare
- Enrollment in this membership is optional
- This membership is not a private contract
- Membership benefits apply only to non-covered wellness services
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes. Commitment depends on the plan selected:
- Radiant Health Membership: 12 months
- Nutrition Essentials Membership: 6 months
- All Wellness Bundles: 3 months
- Radiant + Mind & Body Combination: 6 months
After the commitment period, memberships renew month-to-month unless canceled with proper notice.

There are no cancellation fees, and while we’ll be sorry to see you go, we understand that life happens.
Are memberships and bundles refundable?
Memberships and/or bundles are non-refundable. If something unexpected comes up, please reach out — we’re happy to work with you.
What is a Wellness Visit?
A Wellness Visit is non-medically necessary and not eligible for insurance reimbursement. Examples could include a general health checkup with a naturopathic doctor, or a relaxation massage with one of our LMTs.
Can I share my membership with someone else?
Memberships are for individual use only and are non-transferable.
Do I need to sign up for classes in advance?
Yes — pre-registration is required for all classes and workshops. Space is limited, so sign up early to secure your spot.
Can I attend a class without committing to a membership?
Absolutely! All of our classes are open to the community.
- Everyone receives 50% off their first class
- Existing patients receive 50% off two classes
- Bring a friend or refer someone and receive another 50% off
We’d love your help in spreading the word!
What is your class cancellation policy?
We ask that you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled class or workshop to avoid being charged and so that we can offer this spot others on the waitlist.
Can I bring a guest to class?
Yes! If you bring a friend or refer someone to attend a class, you’ll receive 50% off a drop-in class. It’s our way of saying thank you for helping us build community.
