This hatha yoga and breathwork class emphasizes slow, intentional movement, with time to explore each posture and build strength, stability, and awareness in the body. Participants are offered variations and encouraged to move at a pace that feels supportive, while also learning practical, nervous system-regulating tools they can integrate into daily life to manage stress and stay connected in with their bodies.

Meet Kristen
Kristen Yates is a RYT-500 yoga instructor, breathwork facilitator, and trauma-informed somatic practitioner with over a decade of experience guiding individuals and groups in practices that support nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and embodied healing. Her work integrates yoga and breathwork, mindfulness, and somatic approaches to create spaces that are safe, inclusive, and responsive to each individual. Kristen’s teaching style is grounded, intuitive, and gently engaging, with an emphasis on choice, internal awareness, and meeting each individual exactly where they are. She is passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies, build a sense of safety within themselves, and access the body’s innate capacity for vitality and authentic expression. She believes that meaningful transformation happens not only within the individual, but also in supportive, connected environments, and weaves a mindful relational space through all of her classes.
