Peer Group for Healthy Masculinity

Weekly Support for Men in Portland, Oregon
This weekly men’s circle in Portland offers a supportive space to explore healthy masculinity, emotional wellness, and self-discovery. Led by Dr. Derek Leiss, the group helps men navigate modern life, reconnect with their bodies and emotions, and build meaningful relationships.
Many of us grew up with messages rooted in “no sissy stuff” masculinity—discouraging vulnerability, softness, and emotional expression. These outdated ideas contribute to toxic masculinity, isolation, and disconnection. This group invites men to rewrite that story and co-create a more grounded, resilient identity.
Each session begins with a circle to set intentions, followed by a short intro to the day’s theme, then group sharing and peer support. Together, we’ll build a toolbox of emotional, somatic, and relational skills that can be used in daily life.
