Jessica Bechler, NDInner health and outer health

As a naturopathic physician with a focus on integrative mental health, I do not see overall health as separate from mental health. I focus on learning how your nervous system develops and interacts with other systems of your body so we can support its healing and resilience. My approach includes body work, mindfulness somatic processing, and approaching your whole body. The conditions I like to treat include anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, chronic pain, sleep issues, and more.

Involving the body in the healing of emotions

My practice is unique because of an approach to mental and physical health through bodywork and somatic processing. I’ve met a lot of patients who have done years of talk therapy with no relief, or who have had chronic pain and depression untouched by conventional methods. I believe a lot of our experiences and emotions live in the body and can be released through mindful and energetic body work. The modalities I use are craniosacral therapy with gentle massage styles that combine shiatsu and swedish forms.

Supporting Relationship Trauma: Counseling & Naturopathic Medicine

I am here to support you in healing from relationship traumas. These traumas, both early and later in life, can have lasting effects physically, mentally, and emotionally. With my training in counseling and naturopathic medicine, I understand how the nervous system interacts with the other systems of the body. This holistic approach supports your physical, emotional, and energetic systems which leads to a full and free recovery.

Alleviating Chronic Stressors

Your life will inevitably be stressful at times. Digestion, sleep, focus, memory, body pain, energy, and the ability to grow can all be severely impacted by chronic stress. During these phases, I will support your physical and emotional systems to remain resilient. Stress can come from internal or external sources, and I will help identify ways to alleviate these stressors.

Gender-Affirming Care

As someone who identifies as LGBTQ2S+ , it is important to me to provide holistic trauma informed healthcare attuned to the identities, orientations, backgrounds, and needs of patients from all walks of life. I believe in inclusive medicine and want to be here to provide you gender affirming care with a holistic approach.
