Integrative Pelvic Therapy

A restorative approach to pelvic and reproductive well-being.

Integrative Pelvic Therapy is a gentle bodywork method designed to restore balance, circulation, and vitality within the pelvic region. This approach draws from myofascial release, visceral and trigger-point therapy, breathwork, and nervous system regulation to support pelvic health at every stage of life.

Understanding the Pelvic Foundation

The pelvis forms the structural and energetic center of the body. The pelvis consists of an intricate network of muscles and connective tissue with which lies a network that supports the bladder, uterus, ovaries, and colon. Life experiences such as childbirth, surgery, infection, or emotional stress can cause the connective tissue to contract or hold tension. When these restrictions persist, they can interfere with circulation, hormonal balance, and the natural mobility of pelvic organs. Our aim is to use myofascial techniques to create space in your uterus, ovaries and pelvic floor to provide optimal function. We also may use prescriptive exercises, cupping and mind-body guided visualization to your treatment plan.

Symptoms That May Benefit from This Work

  • Pelvic, bladder or abdominal pain
  • Painful periods or menstrual irregularity
  • Postpartum or post-surgical discomfort
  • Urinary leakage or urgency
  • Scar tissue or adhesions
  • Pelvic heaviness or organ prolapse
  • Pain with intimacy
  • Decreased libido or sensation
  • Pelvic floor tension or weakness

What to Expect

Sessions combine external and internal myofascial techniques with guided breath and gentle movements that apply to the pelvis, low back and abdomen. Treatment is trauma-informed and always paced according to your comfort and readiness, with attention to both physical and emotional aspects of healing. The goal is to help the pelvic tissues release holding patterns, restore mobility, and reestablish a sense of grounded presence in the body.
