Serron Wilkie, ND, LACPortland Monthly Top Naturopathic Doctor 2017 Portland Monthly Top Naturopathic Doctor 2021

As a naturopathic physician, I honor your unique preferences and wisdom, as I offer guidance through dis-ease transitions to find health so that you can live a life that is full, satisfying, peaceful and holds the freedom and sweetness that awareness can bring.

I provide the full spectrum of care for a wide range of health concerns—with a focus on

    • Holistic integrative cancer care
    • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Bipolar disorder

I can also help with digestive challenges, skin conditions, autoimmune conditions, neurological conditions, menstrual irregularities, menopause, fertility, allergies, ear conditions, asthma, and more….

I wholeheartedly believe in change—not the superficial, quick fix—but the steady, sustainable transformation that brings you freedom and peace on all levels. Even if you have not been helped by other standard or alternative treatments, you can have profound benefits from the work we can do together. I practice what I preach. I don’t want to just give you a prescription and send you on your way.  I’m here to dig deeply into what hurts or challenges you, identify the core areas that need attention, and walk with you as you address the trials and tribulations that affect your well-being.

Symptoms are the way the body communicates; giving us key clues to the pattern of imbalance that ultimately lead to disease and illness. To listen deeply to your body’s story, I use kinesiology (muscle testing) and mudras (hand gestures). And to identify and heal the underlying causes in powerful ways that bypass the conscious mind, I practice InnerDialogTM.

My goal is to optimize the innate processes that support, promote and enhance your life. Together we uncover the root cause of your dis-ease and focus on the area that will bring the most profound results for you as an individual.  Together, we can bring your body, mind, and spirit into balance to restore your health by using natural treatments such as acupuncture, craniosacral, homeopathy, botanical medicines and food as medicine.  So you can return to the vibrant life you were meant to live and manifest your highest aspirations.

I am dedicated to you for a lifetime – from growth and development, to the processes of optimizing living and healing and into the death and dying process.

I founded Heart Spring Health to bring you a family of natural medicine practitioners who each provide both comprehensive holistic care and deep expertise in a unique specialty. I believe that when providers support a patient as a team, offering what each loves most and therefore does best, patients are able to improve faster and achieve greater and more sustainable wellbeing.

Because I am committed to helping you and your family thrive for a lifetime, I collaborate with a range of leading specialists to ensure that you have the best possible care for every need at every stage of life.

Education and Affiliations

I earned my naturopathic medical degree from The National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), the oldest school of Naturopathic medicine in North America. There I was honored with the Nature Cure Award for embodying the principles of naturopathic medicine.

At NUNM’s classical Chinese medicine program, I earned my master of acupuncture with emphasis in the 5-Element tradition—a system dedicated to unveiling the nature of dis-ease and geared toward restoring health and balance in body, mind, and spirit.

With a B.A. in Ethnobotanical studies of traditional medicinal practices from Fort Lewis College and certification from the New England School of Homeopathy, I have also pursued intensive study of botanicals, homeopathy and craniosacral therapy with a range of leaders in these fields.

I am a member of these associations:

  • OANP – Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians
  • AANP – American Association of Naturopathic Physicians
  • OncANP – Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians

Awards and Recognition as a Naturopathic Physician

Outside of work

To cultivate my own wellbeing, I maintain a meditation practice. I spend my free time outside in my garden, hiking, skiing and biking with my husband, Dr. Richard Barrett, also a naturopathic physician in Portland at NUNM. I also enjoy good friends, fresh local food, and music.

My patients say

“Dr. Serron Wilkie, my naturopathic physician, is a truly gifted and sensitive healer who has helped me tremendously along my road to optimal health and well-being. Since 2012, she has helped me recover from serious digestive issues in my physical body but also in the emotional and energetic levels of dis-ease as well. She seems to have the rare gift and natural ability to assess and cull out whatever treatment is called for in the moment and so help to intuitively guide the healing process. Not only is she highly skilled in multiple healing modalities but simply being with her kind and compassionate nature is healing. I highly recommend her!” – K.S.

“Dr. Wilkie is a rare find — enormously gifted! Although I started seeing her for specific physical maladies, I consider my time working with her to be one of the most significant spiritual relationships on my journey toward wellness/wholeness. She is extraordinary and has made a truly meaningful contribution to my life. I felt an inward renewal that inspired me to begin cultivating more self-compassion and curative ways of being long after the sessions were over.”   — S.D.

“My 5-year-old son has been struggling with severe anxieties where he had to wear certain clothes, had to hide behind me if we walked by anyone, had to be carried when we entered rooms of people; along with severe aggression and impulsivity such as running into streets and threatening me with kitchen knives. Through the help of Serron Wilkie and other caring providers, he has now been asked on play dates and can attend birthday parties and school, all of which were impossible a few months ago. I think Dr. Wilkie’s ability to see deeply into our issues and find the right homeopathic were a key to settling his nervous system and helping him come out of his protective shell.” — M. R.

“I have worked with Dr. Wilkie as my naturopathic physician and primary health care provider for almost four years. Her steady, warm presence has been a consistent force for integrated healing in my life. I highly recommend both her and the Heart Spring Health practice. Dr. Wilkie is successfully integrating other complementary support providers to broaden her ability to serve patients.  I also appreciate her commitment to learning new skills/modalities which brings a dynamic nature to her practice.” — J.C.
