Reconnect Through Movement

I teach yoga because I want others to experience the greatest gift my own practice has given me: the opportunity to reconnect with myself through movement, breath, and self-care. My hope is that each class offers a space to slow down, become more present, and leave feeling a little more grounded than when you arrived.
With over 15 years of experience teaching yoga and movement, my goal is to create a welcoming environment where people of all backgrounds, abilities, and life experiences feel supported in exploring movement that helps them feel stronger, more resilient, and more at home in their body.
A Welcoming, Individualized Practice
I strive to create classes that are accessible, adaptable, and rooted in curiosity rather than perfection. My teaching blends mindful movement, breathwork, functional mobility, and nervous system regulation to help participants build strength, improve body awareness, and cultivate resilience. Rather than focusing on achieving the “perfect” pose, I encourage students to move with the natural rhythm of their own body and discover what feels supportive for them each day.
A Trauma-Informed Approach
As a Trauma-Sensitive Yoga teacher, I believe choice, autonomy, and compassion are essential to creating a safe and inclusive practice. Whether someone is managing chronic pain, recovering from injury, navigating stress, or simply looking to move with greater ease, my goal is to meet them where they are and empower them to develop a deeper connection with themselves.
Integrating Movement & Medicine
As a current Naturopathic Medical student at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), my studies in physical medicine, musculoskeletal health, anatomy, physiology, and lifestyle medicine continue to deepen my understanding of the relationship between movement and healing. I love integrating evidence-informed movement with mindfulness and breath to support whole-person well-being and help people develop sustainable practices that extend beyond the yoga mat.
Beyond the Studio
When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me in class at NUNM, spending time outdoors with my service dog, Sigmund, or on the yoga mat myself. I enjoy being a student just as much as I enjoy teaching, and I believe wellness is a lifelong practice rooted in curiosity, compassion, and connection. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support others on that journey as part of the Heart Spring Health community.
