Modern Medicine Guided by Ancient Wisdom
I am a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist at Heart Spring Health. My approach is to combine natural healthcare with general medicine to achieve the best possible outcomes through prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. Combining both types of care allows for the safest and least invasive solutions in a safe medical setting. I rely on state-of-the-art laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging to evaluate risk factors for disease, diagnose acute illness, check for allergies, measure hormone levels, evaluate toxic metal burden, analyze digestive and immune function, and detect inflammation. I have a special interest in treating conditions that have not responded favorably to conventional therapies.
The Process Unfolds Naturally
The doctor-patient relationship is a sacred thing.
Each encounter is an opportunity for deep healing on many levels. It all starts with acceptance, open-mindedness, and really listening to what the other person is saying. Every human being is unique, and each treatment needs to be personalized to be most effective. Naturopathic medicine acknowledges the inherent self-correcting mechanisms of the body and the healing powers of nature. I value and respect the body’s wisdom and seek to encourage, strengthen, and support the innate healing abilities within each individual. Personal preferences for treatments are given the highest priority.
The healing process is logical and ordered.
The body has its own way of doing things and getting the job done. Through centuries of observing the body, physicians from the past have made astounding discoveries. When the body is supported in its natural healing processes, there is a predictable series of events that occur called Hering’s Law of Cure. When a person’s health is truly improving, the most vital body processes and organ systems begin to heal first. For example, the heart, liver, and kidneys will return to a normal state of health first while the skin, hair, and nails are usually the last priority for the body.
Physicians have a responsibility to keep their oath.
Like all naturopaths, I took an oath to follow the tenets of naturopathic medicine. The first of these is to “do no harm”. By making the best use of herbal medicines, vitamins, and other natural methods, side-effects are minimized or eliminated entirely. “Identifying the underlying causes of symptoms” should be the intent and focus of every doctor. This is the only way to prevent symptoms from returning. “Treating the whole person” is the basis for holistic medicine and requires a doctor to treat all parts of a person including the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual elements.
Naturopaths follow the hierarchy of natural therapeutic modalities.
It is easy to recognize that some types of treatments are inherently less risky than others, and I like to start with those ones first unless there is a good reason otherwise. A lot of times, the least force effort is all that is required to relieve symptoms and promote recovery. In some situations, an initial stronger approach is warranted, and I am fortunate to have access to these treatments as well. The most satisfying results can often be achieved through balancing traditional medicine with conventional medicine. I seek to guide each of my patients to the most appropriate therapies that they may need at any given time.

“Dr. Zeoli always listens, he is very professional, knowledgeable and not overbearing. His acupuncture treatments are always accurate which results in almost immediate relief of symptoms.” – Ewa
“In 2016, I was a normal 35-year-old but I suffered from extremely low energy, dizziness, and light headedness. It was to the point that I was passing out during meetings in the middle of my workday. It was scary and confusing. Thankfully, we found Dr. Zeoli and he has been a gift from God!! Through diet, allergy testing, and supplements he has successfully treated me into the best physical and mental state of my adult life. On top of being an expert at healing our bodies, he and his staff are extremely pleasant to work with. My wife and our children also see him for yearly checkups, as well as any time we are sick or need assistance. He is a wealth of knowledge and I strongly encourage you to try his services!”– Bobby
“I just realized after a few years that I never left Dr. Zeoli a review. So, here it is. This man saved me from a myriad of symptoms that turned out to be diet and gut related. I had no idea what was happening to me and was very scared because up until that point I had never had any health issues whatsoever. My entire life and ability to function were affected. I had seen 2 medical doctors who immediately tried telling me it was anxiety and that perhaps I had gastroparesis. Without any further exam or investigation at all, they prescribed multiple medications. I never took the first pill. I looked for an alternative, and someone who would listen. Thankfully, I found Dr. Zeoli. After my first visit, I was already healing, and within a month, I was on my way to being the healthiest I had been in my entire life. I’m so grateful.” – Rae
“Dr Zeoli is very knowledgeable, empathetic, and professional. He has helped me a great deal. They also bill insurance, which is nice. Highly recommend!” – Terri
