Our Integrative Model

We operate within a trauma-informed, whole-person care framework that emphasizes the foundations of health—nutrition, movement, nervous system regulation, and meaningful lifestyle change. Our clinic includes a teaching kitchen, gym, and dedicated movement space for yoga, Qi gong, and mindfulness-based practices.

These spaces allow providers to extend care beyond individual visits, supporting patients through education, group programs, and experiential learning.

Trauma and/or Disordered Eating Therapist

Heart Spring Health is seeking a licensed therapist with advanced training in either complex trauma (C-PTSD) and developmental trauma or disordered eating and eating disorders to join our collaborative integrative clinic.

We serve a patient population where many individuals present with layered trauma histories, attachment disruption, nervous system dysregulation, chronic health concerns, and co-occurring eating disturbances. We are looking for a clinician who brings depth, structure, and clinical maturity to this work.

This is not a generalist therapy role. We are specifically seeking a provider with specialty training in one (or both) of the following areas:

Specialty Focus – Complex Trauma

  • Advanced training in trauma modalities (EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, IFS, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, trauma-focused CBT, or similar)
  • Experience treating complex PTSD, developmental trauma, dissociation, and attachment wounds
  • Strong stabilization, pacing, and titration skills
  • Comfort working with somatic symptoms and nervous system dysregulation

Specialty Focus – Disordered Eating / Eating Disorders

  • Experience treating eating disorders and disordered eating that do not meet the criteria for in patient therapy but the ability to assess when referral is necessary.
  • Familiarity with medical risk factors and stepped-care decision-making
  • Training in evidence-based approaches
  • Comfort collaborating with medical providers around labs, weight trends, and safety concerns

Required Qualifications

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Heart Spring Health is seeking a friendly, community-oriented Licensed Massage Therapist to join our collaborative naturopathic clinic. This is an ideal opportunity for a practitioner who is passionate about integrative care and values working as part of a team to provide exceptional, patient-centered services.

Position Details

  • Provide care for approximately 5 clients per day
  • Utilize a range of massage techniques
  • Schedule: 3 days per week
  • Average of 6 hours per day

Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to provide medical nutrition therapy and diagnosis-informed nutrition education within an integrative clinical setting. This role includes both individual visits and condition-focused nutrition education classes, supporting patients with medical diagnoses and complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy
  • Support patients with diagnosed conditions using holistic evidence-based nutrition strategies
  • Lead diagnosis-informed nutrition education classes (e.g., metabolic health, digestive health, cardiovascular support, disordered eating, weight management, etc.)
  • Collaborate with naturopathic physicians, acupuncturists, and other providers
  • Document care in the EMR in compliance with insurance and clinical standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case collaboration when appropriate
  • Contribute content to our wellness membership

Qualifications

  • Current RD/RDN credential
  • Credentialed or ability to credential with insurance networks

Holistic Physical Therapist

The focus of this role is individualized patient care that supports recovery, functional movement, chronic condition management, injury prevention, and long-term wellness. You’ll work alongside our integrative providers to deliver coordinated care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized physical therapy sessions tailored to client needs and functional goals
  • Collaborate with referring providers (naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, etc.) as part of a shared care plan
  • Support clients managing chronic pain, recovering from injury, or improving mobility and strength
  • Help shape the new movement and rehabilitation program during its development phase

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic, individualized patient care including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment

Medical Assistant – On-Call Only

Heart Spring Health is a busy naturopathic health clinic in SE Portland. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable employee with phlebotomy skills who is ready to work in a clinic, and excited to work Mornings!

Responsibilities

  • Phlebotomy, processing blood, and paperwork related to lab orders.
  • Injections
  • Vitals (manual blood pressure readings preferred)
  • Treatment room, Lab & Medical supplies stocking,
  • Make herbal formulas, flower essences, and homeopathic tinctures as required during patient visits so patients can leave with treatment in hand.
  • Support with prescription medications, botanical tinctures, homeopathic remedies, flower essences, and supplements
  • Prior Authorizations for labs, imaging, medication, and PT benefits.
  • Send professional referrals and support patients in scheduling  all internal and external referrals.
  • Contact patients & remind patients of routine checkups, labs & appointments.
  • Manage laundry duties associated with the Company.

  • Assist with billing/aging
