Energy-Based Massage and Craniosacral Therapy

LMT #29760

Elitza DayI am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT #29760) at Heart Spring Health in SE Portland, OR. Having been in practice since 2009, I have held licenses in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and now Oregon.

I have relocated to Portland to grow in my current practices and further my education by studying Acupuncture through a trauma informed lens at ORCCA. I am fully invested in the continuous pursuit of knowledge about the human body, the reduction of pain, and increase of ease in daily life; as well as the study of how our emotions and experiences manifest physically, and how we can best support the body in ways that facilitate safe emotional processing and deepening connection with the self.

The Support I Offer

A majority of my clients fall into the hypermobile and neurodivergent communities. I work with those who have chronic illness and chronic pain associated with hEDS, hypermobility spectrum disorders, long covid, fibromyalgia, and developmental trauma. I am also happy to see anyone who needs to feel more connected to themselves and their body, and anyone who feels drained, or weighed down by the heaviness of either the outer world we are living in and/or the inner worlds we all hold.

My goal is to provide a safe, neutral, grounded space for your whole being to rest, and treatment that meets you exactly where you and your body are. My work is energy based and centered around the needs of your nervous system, and it is rooted in the practice of listening to your spoken needs as well as your body’s more subtle communications.

To describe my work more tangibly, I provide slow, intentional, fascial work with the intent of facilitating more connectedness so your body can do the beautiful work of healing itself.

Craniosacral Therapy is the modality I tend to utilize and integrate into sessions the most often. I am so grateful to have been able to study with and continue studying with those at the Upledger Institute.

I will always describe the day’s treatment plan before we begin so you know what to expect during the session. Changes to the plan are of course welcome while we are working, and I am always happy to answer any questions, curiosities, and/or narrate as we go along if you so desire.

Reviews

“I’ve had massages before, but they were always very generic and unfocused. This place was a whole different experience. I had Elitza as my massage therapist, and I have never felt such a level of empathy, comfort, and safety from a therapist. I’m a very anxious person, which is why I’m so tense, and even though I didn’t know what I needed, I felt listened to. She was able to find the trouble spots and work them out. Kind and considerate the whole time. Today, I feel not only physically but mentally better, too. I will definitely be returning and suggesting this place to others. Five stars!” -Matt

“I always thought massage had to hurt, I didn’t know there was massage for me.” -Maggie (hEDS)
