Equipping & Empowering Clients

My name is Adam. I’m a studying Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, with expected licensure in fall of 2026, a certified personal trainer, yoga teacher, and experienced breathwork and meditation instructor. I’ve spent the last twelve years learning how to marry these techniques to tailor exercise and wellness programs for enjoyment and sustainable outcomes. I approach each encounter with an aim to learn about a client’s goals, motivating factors, current strengths, and address potential obstacles for success. My ultimate goal with everyone I work with is that they eventually feel educated, empowered and well equipped to continue their training effectively on their own.

Supporting Underserved Demographics

Adam PattersonI was initially drawn to this field from observing the profound impact movement and other small lifestyle changes can make on one’s mental health and world view. I found myself empowered by observing this connection first hand and have seen repeatedly how this can change other’s quality of life. Since beginning my studies in naturopathic medicine, I encountered populations that have disproportionately fallen through the cracks and yet would highly benefit from personalized exercise programming. For example, those suffering from long COVID, chronic fatigue, POTS and hypermobility make standard exercise approaches inaccessible or entirely ineffective. I’ve since been inspired to develop gentle reconditioning programs to support these populations and their journey back to health.

I have experience working with a wide range of demographics and different levels of fitness. I am passionate about offering delicate and gentle progressive fitness plans to support individuals’ introduction to movement. I am also excited to work with all other fitness levels to help them achieve their next goal while maintaining sustainable training techniques and avoiding injury.

In my free time, I like to build movement into everything I do. I enjoy hikes, trail running, and games like frisbee and basketball. I regularly practice mindful movement exercises like yoga, dance, and tai chi. When I’m most inspired, I train in plyometric training, power lifting, circuits, and calisthenics. I find that variety helps me continue to feel excited and motivated to engage in movement on a regular basis.
