Aligning with your Inherent Power to Heal
My journey into the field of holistic health came from a realization that many people need options beyond the capacity of conventional medicine. As an Oregon board-certified Naturopathic Doctor, I guide my patients towards wellness by aligning with the body’s inherent intelligence and ability to self-heal. The various systems of the body (hormones, skin, gut, mental/emotional, etc) are not independent islands, but a deeply interconnected web that I am trained to decipher based on symptoms and treat the root cause.
I address acute and chronic issues that women of all stages of life experience. Female physiology is complex and attuned to rhythms operating on daily, monthly, and decades-long levels. My work is to bring women back into balance to enjoy vibrant health. My clinical focuses include:
- Menstrual cycle issues
- Vaginal/vulvar health
- Urinary tract infections
- Perimenopause and menopause
- Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
- Postpartum Depression
In addition to my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine, I have a Master’s in Integrative Mental Health. This approach includes: functional lab testing, thorough biopsychosocial assessment and consultation, nutritional counseling and targeted nutraceuticals, genetic testing (Genesight or Genomind) to guide psychopharmaceutical therapy, and flower essence therapy. My work is trauma-informed and aimed at restoring peace, joy, focus, and resiliency to the lives of my patients.
Chronic Complex Disease
Providing options for individuals who experience chronic symptoms that are resistant to conventional medical therapies is my passion. I have expertise with Interstitial Cystitis after I was diagnosed with the condition myself, and working with these patients who also experience high levels of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, endometriosis, IBS, mast-cell activation syndrome, mold-related illness, autoimmunity, and allergies immersed me in the world of chronic complex disease. Patients with chronic disease that see the most results through their work with me are: highly motivated, consistent with their treatment protocol, and patient on their wellness journey.
